Recorded live at the Wonderbar as the final installment of Joe Harvard's Live! Nude Bands! series and the torch-passing start of Jacko Monahan's own Wednesday night run at the Wonderbar in Asbury Park, NJ, this set features Milky Chicken Spit along with Jacko's invited guests.
The band features Jazzlamic's hard boppers Dan Weeks [one of the annually designated Poets Laureate of Asbury Park] & Chuck Welch [who plays the set's incendiary solos] plus a pair of multi-instrumentalists: Moth Guts/Leslie Gore/Honky Tonkin' bass clarinet/electric bass/guitar player Mike Noordzy [sticking to upright bass for this set], & Joe Harvard, whose dozen or so revolving Milky instruments are represented here by electric collander, baglama saz cumbus & [mostly] lap steel.
