Like Myself 'A'

from Love & Music: Play! Play! Play! by Mr. Happy

/

about

Joe Harvard wrote this optimistic number around the sound of a Vincent Bell Coral Sitar, and an 8-track recording was made at the original Fort Apache South location, Roxbury MA. A drop-D riff bubbles along underneath with Sebastian Steinberg alternately doubling and providing counterpoint to it. Ted Pine joins the raga party with some internal de-tuning and such in his analogue synth patches. Sounds like old Dave "Bone" Pedersen on the backing vocals.
