about

These songs are the result of collaboration between Program Director Joe Harvard and youngsters and teens who participated in the DIY: Production classes offered free of charge at the Media Center @ Ballard, 1515 Fourth Avenue, on the West Side of Asbury Park, NJ. The MC@B is a youth ministry of the Ballard United Methodist Church with classes held after the Free Community Breakfast on Saturdays.
Autistic students at three Long Branch Middle Schools were also recorded as they sang and played keyboard / Novation Launchpad during Media Center in-school visits resulting in the song "Summer to the Third Power".

Track Name: Summer to the Third Power
S is for the Jersey Shore where
U and I are going
M it stands for more
M-ore moving and more growing - yeah we'll do
E-verything that's worth remembering, we'll
Reign like kings this Summer, Summer, Summer!
Summer, Summer, Summer! Summer, Summer!
[SAMPLES:] It's a beautiful world ... outside. But the beach - you remember the beach?
You shall not pass! But I passed math ... I PASSED MATH. etc
